Exposition Prayer
  (Posted on our Church Notice-Board)

  Dear Jesus,
  How gentle is the silence,
The church is hushed and still,
  Candles flicker nervously
  Their radiant light to spill.
You are waiting there in splendour
  With blessings to impart,
  Graces in abundance
  And peace to every heart.
  You listen to my worries,
My fears and all my cares
And with patience give Your solace
  To my beseeching prayers.
I love this time alone with You
  Though others may kneel by,
I feel I have You to myself
And You hear my every sigh.
It's times like these, I'm sure I see
  A glimpse of heaven above,
  In Your overwhelming Presence
  Pouring out Your endless love.
Oh that people passing by our church
Could know what lay in store
For them, if they would stop a while,
  To enter and adore.
Jesus, when my life is closing,
Please be near to comfort me
And remember all the other times
  When I kept you company.
