| Exposition Prayer | ||
| (Posted on our Church Notice-Board) | ||
| Dear Jesus, | ||
| How gentle is the silence, | ||
| The church is hushed and still, | ||
| Candles flicker nervously | ||
| Their radiant light to spill. | ||
| You are waiting there in splendour | ||
| With blessings to impart, | ||
| Graces in abundance | ||
| And peace to every heart. | ||
| You listen to my worries, | ||
| My fears and all my cares | ||
| And with patience give Your solace | ||
| To my beseeching prayers. | ||
| I love this time alone with You | ||
| Though others may kneel by, | ||
| I feel I have You to myself | ||
| And You hear my every sigh. | ||
| It's times like these, I'm sure I see | ||
| A glimpse of heaven above, | ||
| In Your overwhelming Presence | ||
| Pouring out Your endless love. | ||
| Oh that people passing by our church | ||
| Could know what lay in store | ||
| For them, if they would stop a while, | ||
| To enter and adore. | ||
| Jesus, when my life is closing, | ||
| Please be near to comfort me | ||
| And remember all the other times | ||
| When I kept you company. | ||
