Birchley
St. Mary’s Third World Group
Thank you for all
the support received during the past twelve months. It is only with your continued help that we have been able to
send the marvellous sum of over £15000.00 to give relief to the poorest
parts of the World. The letters we
receive are full of thanks and prayers for all you do.
… On behalf of the
men, women and many children
you have released from the fear and pain of trachoma let me say a heartfelt ‘thank
you’. Your compassionate gift of
£500 has literally turned hurting eyes into healthy eyes and futures of
blindness into futures of hope.
Thank you very
much for your cheque for £800 to enable us to continue with our work for the
people in Colimes, Ecuador. Life
is very, very difficult in Ecuador for the families now. We have virtually doubled our work to try
and cope with the never-ending requests and we are making a difference. It is only because of people like you
though that we can keep going so please pass on our deep gratitude.
…Very many thanks
indeed for sending us recently the most generous and valued donation of
£300. This will delight Fr. Centurio
Olaboro in Uganda, a good friend of ours, and will enable him to feed
his orphans.
… It gives me
great joy once again to express to you my heartfelt gratitude for another
really generous donation from your parish.
Your gift of £950 will enable Fr. Guise in Vietnam to have houses
constructed for poor, homeless families.
You can imagine the happiness of those concerned and I thank you most
warmly on their behalf.
Thank you for
helping us to offer hope in Russia today. It is only through such generosity that we are able to bring the
love of Christ to those in such need.
We gratefully acknowledge receipt of your gift of £650. Please convey our gratitude to all for their
generous contributions.
Thank you for your
letter and the very generous cheque for £400, which you have sent to help with
the mission work done by our Sisters in Ethiopia.
